Sony launched a strange device to the Japanese market on June 12th calling it the FES watch (fashion entertainment startup) a sub division of Sony.
It is able to display a number of watch faces and selected band designs at the touch of a button. The watch is able to do this with the use of E-Ink; Sony says that they will be releasing new content from creators on a monthly basis.
The original watch used button cells that had to be replaced every couple of years whereas this model will be using rechargeable batteries that can last for up to 3 weeks.
