The Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), one of the island’s biggest iGaming employers, is hosting legendary Silicon Valley tech pioneer Steve ‘Woz’ Wozniak in Malta, at the company’s five year anniversary event.
GiG’s conference, ‘Gigsters Connect’, is taking place on 6 – 7 March for all GiG employees, some university and MCAST tech students, developers, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and some members of the business community.
GiG’s event will be full of non stop meetings, hackathons, parties and learning opportunities, and a ‘fireside chat’ plus Q&A with “The Woz”.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate five successful years of our company than by giving our employees and 400 of the Maltese tech community the opportunity to be inspired by Woz, a pioneer of technology,” said GIG CEO Robin Reed.
Attendees will learn about Apple’s beginnings and hear first hand how Steve Wozniak changed the status quo during the technological revolution.
