Airbnb is testing out a long-needed feature within its app.
Split payments – someone still has to stick the whole charge for lodging on a holiday and as of now there is no option to split payments in order to avoid someone paying the whole trip for everyone then hassling to collect separate payments for everyone.
This feature was one of the most requested features from Airbnb and is currently being tested out with a few listings but over time will be implemented on all listings. The feature is set to be able to split a payment between up to 16 people; which will solve the problem of a card not being strong enough or risking a large sum of money with risky friends.
