Microsoft have officially unveiled their new mid-level smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 730, which will be replacing it’s predecessor, the 720. Aimed at a younger generation, the phones features a sporty look thanks to it’s glossy rounded polycarbonate cover.
Dubbed ‘The selfie phone’, the 730 is a dual sim smartphone, and comes with a 4.7″ 720p display, a 1.2Ghz quad core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1Gb of RAM, and 8Gb of internal storage.
At the back we find a 6.7Mp f/1.9 camera, whist at the front we find a 5Mp camera, optimised for selfies. The phone in fact comes with a stand-alone application to quickly access the front camera. The application also offers a variety of editing tools and presets specifically designed for selfies. This app has been announced to be available for download for all the Lumia line-up.
The phone is set to hit the shelves this month around the world, and will be retailing for 199euros.
