Japanese bankers getting Exosuit

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation have just announced that they shall be handing out exoskeleton suits to its senior employees. The Japanese banking firm wanted to assist their select senior employees to reduce the burden of moving currency and minimise the strain on their bodies.

“There have been many cases when a physical burden was placed on senior employees carrying heavy parcels of banknotes and coins. By adopting Cyberdyne’s robotic suits, we can help reduce that burden,”

Tomoyuki Narita – Spokesman

The Hybrid Assistive Limb is designed to reduce the weight of objects by 40%, allowing for the body to be strained less on the job.

Should this pilot project be successful, the HAL systems will be implemented nation wide.
