GoPro Virtual Reality Mount

GoPro’s chief executive – Nick Woodman – showed off a prototype mount holding six Hero4 cameras. This was announced at the Code Conference in California this week.

The cameras are connected together in the shape of a ball and they capture footage that is put together with KOLOR, a VR software company acquired by GoPro last April.

Woodman said this type of mount can be available on the market later this year, but gave no pricing information.

He also confirmed that the company is working on it’s own version of the drone, targeted to launch before July 2016.
