After an intense Gadgets filled weekend in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, it is finally time to relax and take in the new technology and innovation we got to see.
After hours of debating and discussing, Ian is finally ready to give us his top three gadgets from last week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Selfly
We can finally say goodbye to the selfie stick. The Selfly takes selfies to new heights (pun intended). The Selfly is a mobile phone cover turned drone that literally will fly your phone into the air to take a selfie of you. Talk about best angle possible.
The Modius
The Modius is a product we have never seen before and Ian was pretty keen to see if it works. The Modius, a weight loss device, promises to help you reach your goals, whether it is losing fat, getting a flatter stomach or slimming down your waists.
The Modius is a headset that works through electrical impulses. Weight gain and weight loss are controlled by the brain, in a way that your brain controls your appetite, metabolic rate, hormones and more. Modius is said to send low-power electrical pulses that stimulate the vestibular nerve, which is located right behind the ear and runs all the way to your brain. The stimulation is interpreted by your brain as the body being more physically active, therefore triggering the brain to reduce fat storage.
BONUS: it is also said to improve sleep quality
The Nokia 8 Sirocco
Nokia’s new top of the range flagship smartphone: The Nokia 8 Sirocco. This phone has a beautiful OLED display with the smallest-ever bezels a Nokia phone has ever seen. The fingerprint sensor sits at the back, right underneath the dual-lens Zeiss camera. The Nokia 8 is packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is fast-charging capable and IP67 dust and water resistant.
