We have all seen the MCAST projection mapping videos at some point or another, and even though they are quite complex, someone has just raised the bar.
Dubbed OMOTE, this system merges face tracking with projection mapping, creating an amazing new device, which can be described as real time CGI. The project was realised from a collaboration between a group of designers, make up artists, and CGI experts.The hypersensitive camera sensor follows the subjects face, and projects the video on the face, compensating for movement.
