Acronis follows in suit behind Runa Capital and Parallels in Accelerating Innovation and Supporting Blockchain Initiatives in Malta
Yesterday, was the day that brought Malta one step closer to becoming the Silicon Valley of the Mediterranean. Two global leaders, in funding and in hybrid cloud data respectively, have opted to base their companies in Malta.
Starting off with a talk from their CEO Serguei Beloussov about the vision of the companies and why they opted to choose our country; ending with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat expressing the benefits of bringing such big-players to the island and the vision of the country.

On the other hand, Runa Capital was started by a group of successful serial IT entrepreneurs, each with significant experience in building companies and has since become a leading Global VC firm with European roots. Currently have over $350M under management in fund II.
