Asus have just unveiled the next product in the Transformer line called the Transformer Book V.
This brilliant new device integrates five systems in one compact laptop, making it a stunning solution for professionals on the go. The hybrid laptop sports the Windows 8 operating system, and the screen is detachable, turning it into a Windows-based tablet. The Transformer book 5 comes with a 12.5″ IPS HD display, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB flash drive (for the Tablet), a 1Tb Hard disk (for the laptop) , and a powerful battery which Asus claim to have a 10hr span.
Docked inside the tablet’s back is a 5 inch Android based smartphone, which is is the first to run Intel’s 64bit quad-core chip. The phone has 2Gb of Ram, 64Gb of internal storage, and sports an 8MP camera (with a 2MP front facing one). When docking the phone into the hybrid, you are given the option to run it’s OS, giving the user the option to use Android on the Tablet or Android on the laptop.
Asus have failed to mention a release date of a price tag for the device, but we hope to see this product hit the shelves this holiday season.
