If Apple’s keynote unveiling and giving demos of their new products has impressed you and you are looking toward buying one of the iPhones; fast charging is something you would definitely like. From an owner of a Oneplus device; after experiencing the efficiency of dash charging I believe fast charging is a necessity.
Fast Charging doesn’t come easy
On the bright side, all three new iPhone models support fast charging. Although in order to utilize this you must pay a premium for it.
Apple claim that you can charge your device from 0 to 50 percent in half an hour. You will have to separately buy a USB-C cable that the company do not offer along with the purchase of the new iPhones. You will need to purchase a USB-C wall charger due to the fact that USB-C enables Power delivery.
Apple have previously used this technology for the 10.5 and 12.9 inch iPad Pro.
It is quite normal for apple to charge a premium for its products, in fact for the new wireless charging that iPhones have just been introduced to, will have to buy a charging mat separately too.
