Amazon unveil first smart phone

Internet retail giant Amazon, have finally unveiled their final piece of the puzzle in the Fire product line; The Amazon Fire Phone. During yesterday’s key note speech, company CEO Jeff Bezos showed off this cool new smartphone, and it’s amazing features and capabilities.
The Amazon phone comes preloaded with Android and Amazon apps, and sports a 2.2Ghz Quad Core Snapdragon Processor, 2GB of Ram, a 4.7″ HD display, and comes in 32GB or 64Gb variations with several colour options.
The key features that sets this phone apart, and are ultimate game changers, include;

  • A perspective Sensor: This sensor works in tandem with the GPU, and depending which angle you are viewing the screen, different graphics appear. For example; if you are looking at a map, you can tilt the phone slightly to the left and the screen will display points of interests on the map. The Perspective sensor will also allow users to auto scroll, peek-navigate, get a 3D perspective, and allow for a new immersive way to play video games.
  • Firefly Technology: The phone also comes with a Firefly button, allowing the users to scan barcodes, QR codes, email addresses, over 100 million physical products, songs, movies, and others. After scanning these said objects, the phone will display any relevant data related to the product or media from the internet.
  • Mayday: The phone also sports an amazing customer service feature, allowing users to contact an Amazon technical expert via video internet chat 24 hours a day and seven days a week for free.
  • Improved Camera System: Even though the camera is only 13MP, the camera sensor sports an advanced image stabilization system allowing for sharper and crisper images. The camera also features Panorama, lenticular, burst, or intelligent HDR modes.
  • Unlimited Cloud Storage: That is right, you have free unlimited cloud storage for your phone, which also automatically backs up you data just in case you loose of break your phone.
