The current version of Apple’s streaming technology, Airplay, requires a Wifi network to establish a connection between the user’s devices to share data. But what happens when you are about to give a meeting in conference room with no Wifi and need to use Airplay? Well Apple has the solution for this problem; iOS8 will be in fact introducing the sharing of media over Airplay without the need of an established Wifi connection.
This feature is not an innovative discovery really, since DLNA and several third party applications have done this for a while. But regardless Apple users will able to do the same this Fall.
