What To Look Out For On Netflix This Month!

Sure, Christmas movies will be all the rage for this month, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tune in to the rest of the good stuff on offer. So, if you’re looking to disconnect from excessive festive cheer and one too many “OLDIBEST” quips, this is what you should look out for.

Nostalgia & newness alike

At least two Jurassic World movies should be making their way to Netflix this month, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is already available in Malta. And to further push the nostalgia buzzer, ET The Extra Terrestrial should be making an appearance too!

“Iconic” is an understatement for this scene

On the fresher side of things, there’s plenty to look forward to. “Mank” is a bio drama about Herman J. Mankiewicz, in his race to write cult classic “Citizen Kane”. Filmed in black & white, starring Gary Oldman and directed by David Fincher, this is surely not one to miss for any movie aficionado.

Right before Christmas, we’re kind of excited for “The Midnight Sky“. The trailer seems amazing with its Death Stranding vibes, but George Clooney’s beard is a sight to behold too. And as far as we can tell, it’s completely real. The beard, not the movie. That might become true in a couple years’ time.

And before we go, for some New Year’s Eve laughter if you’re staying in (which you probably should) keep an out for Netflix’s own comedy special “Best of Stand-Up 2020“. The best jokes, stories and one-liners from their 2020 comedy shows are compiled into one special, ensuring you end the strangest of years with a smile.

Will you be enjoying any of these titles? What are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments!
