Tropical Holiday Destinations You’ll Love!


The travel ban period surely left a pent-up thirst for travel which could only be satiated by some inspiring travel destination ideas. By now, most of you have heard, that airports will be open once again as from the 1st of July. So far destinations seem to be slightly limited but, for those of you who love travelling, especially those who like to venture far from the safety of Europe, here is a compiled list of destinations you will surely love! So, without further ado, here are some top tropical destinations to get your travel juices going and get you inspired until we can start travelling the entire world again.  

1. Haiti

Who doesn’t love a good cocktail served in a fresh coconut, while swaying in the sea breeze on a hammock? Then hopping on a jet ski and whizzing away on calm seas, taking in the stunning peaks of the mountain on the island?

Best time to visit: November to March.

2. Bali

From beautiful sandy beaches and rose-coloured sunsets, to stunning rice field views, and lush monkey-filled forests, Bali never disappoints. Make sure to visit Ubud in the heart of the island. And for a more private adventure with less tourists, opt to go North, to Lovina and visit the breath-taking waterfalls.

3. Tanzania

From impressive wildlife to fascinating cultures, Tanzania is an inspirational escape destination. 5. Madagascar

Whenever we hear this country’s names our brain automatically plays ‘I like to move it, move it’, but there is so much more this country has to offer. From its magnificent nature, to its diverse wildlife, Madagascar also offers unique photo opportunities with animals such as the famous movie’s lemurs, which are famous for the dancing routines.

Best time to visit: April to December. Your month choice should be based around what you would like to see during your stay.

6. Zimbabwe

From the uniqueness of the Victoria Falls, to their flaming Msasa trees, lifeblood rivers, lush mountains and national wildlife parks, Zimbabwe has a bit of everything for everyone.

7. South Africa

Known as the king of Safaris, South Africa will stupefy you with jaw-dropping star-studded skies. Witnessing wildlife in its most natural habitat, will take your breath away and make you feel small and powerless when in close proximity to such wild, commanding creatures.

8. Jamaica

Who has never wanted to visit the Caribbean? Visiting some of the scenes where the famous Captain Jack Sparrow was filmed drinking rum in his finest hour. Allow chill locals to welcome you on this Caribbean island, surrounded by the bright and iconic, green, red and yellow flags while some relaxed reggae plays in the background. This place is known for its chill vibes, spicy flavours, gorgeous waterfalls and lagoons. Ya man!

Best time to visit: Year-round destination, although August to October have a chance of hurricane season so best to avoid during this period.

9. Philippines
