We’ve already had a Christmas Lite in reduced numbers, though we’re hoping everyone made up for it with increased spirit. Now, with New Year’s Eve just a couple of days away, most people would have been heading to Valletta for the annual celebrations. This time, the organisers are giving you the excuse to stay in and watch it all from the comfort of your home!
You can’t be there anyway
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, the variety show will be broadcast on TVM as well as the other major TV stations in Malta. It won’t be open to the public, but you get to see all the fun taking place from your sofa…so, it’s a win-win in any case.
Popular local hosts, stand-up comedians, a 12-person strong orchestra and local singers Amber, Jasmine, Aidan and Kevin Paul will keep us entertained for the duration of the show, expected to last around 3 hours.
However, do keep your eyes out for Ember Trio – they were semi-finalists on Britain’s Got Talent and will be performing around the various landmarks in Valletta.
