If there’s one thing all can agree on, it’s that filing taxes is never fun. That being said, they can be made easier. This is where Binderr steps in, Malta’s first bookkeeping app catering mostly for the self-employed, but with an eye on future growth!
Empowering self-employed
The freelancer segment is a fast-growing one in Malta, but if you’re not well versed in accounts, filing taxes can be pretty scary. The app’s founder, Jacob Appel, says “in a world where technology is moving so fast, bookkeeping still feels like the same old headache it always used to be”.

This app provides a seamless and personalised experience for every user, giving you more insights and control to derive real value from your finances.
How it works
Upload your receipts on the go so you never miss an expense. Easy and quick allocation to all the right places so you always have up to date accounts, and get live insights into your tax returns and management accounts. Taxes include VAT returns, Income Tax Returns, Social Security and Provisional Tax payments.

All uploads are securely stored on AWS Cloud and industry-leading servers ensuring maximum security and durability. Payment for your taxes can be made through the app or via a direct link to the local tax authority payment gateway.
One-stop app? Coming Soon!
Binderr does more than simply file your taxes though. Binderr will soon be offering its services to small businesses including management accounts, payroll, issuing of invoices and more. It won’t be long before Binderr becomes your one-stop app for all your business finance needs.
You’ll also receive alerts and notifications of your upcoming tax deadlines and payments, so you’ll never be late again. All of this means that paperwork will be a headache of the past; everything will be organised and stored safely in the app.
