Bank of Valletta continues its push towards a contactless payment environment in Malta, offering such options when purchasing tickets for the Valletta-Gozo ferry service, whether it’s with Virtu Ferries or GozoFast Ferry.

Ferry boarding got a lot easier

Demand for cashless payments nowadays knows pretty much no boundaries, which is why it’s so important to expand it to as many businesses and services as possible. Should you be taking the ferry, you never need to worry about having the exact change again, given they accept the full spectrum of BOV’s contactless payment options.

For the record, that’s contactless credit & debit cards, as well as payments through smart devices via BOV Pay, Apple Pay GarminPay.

Paying on the go is also beneficial to the environment, as it reduces the amount of paper generated, and it’s great to see another service add a variety of payment options too.
