In December, Samsung collected no less than 44 awards honours at the CES® 2021 Innovation Awards, including four Best of Innovation awards. Here are the highlights from that list of winners, and what it could mean for the competition…

Which gadget won what?

Though we won’t go through each winner, there are some very deserved winners in there that deserve details. The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition won Best of Innovation in the audio department, and it’s easy to guess why. Studio-quality sound with a unique two-way speaker system, the Ambient Sound tech allows users to allow as much background noise as they wish.

Best of Innovation in the mobile devices went to the Galaxy Note 20 5G, thanks to its immersive display, top-level camera, and the more intuitive experience with an enhanced S Pen.

Other noteworthy winners were the Galaxy Buds Live for Eco-Design and Sustainability award for their interchangeable parts that increase lifespan and reduce landfill waste; the Samsung TV Plus in the Streaming segment; and the Samsung LM283N+ took the Health & Wellness Award.

What next?

The CES 2021 Awards winners were revealed in December, apart from those who preferred to remain silent, waiting for the grand showcase that comes now in January. One of tech’s top events, several talks and exhibitions will take place from the 11th until 14th January 2021. You can register and catch them all here, but do stay tuned to our page too, because there’s a big announcement coming soon on the 14th. Our: question is will Samsung go through another clean sweep of awards in 2021 too?
