Avantech, the official distributors and service providers for Canon in Malta, is once again bringing us the opportunity to interact with photography legend Clive Booth this Wednesday. The Silver Blue Peter Badge winner will be accompanied by Ferenc Torok,  Canon CPS Representative/Product Specialist. As well as Malta’s very own Kurt Paris, Fashion and Portrait photographer.

Clive Booth, started off as a graphic designer working with big brands like  Toyota, British Airways, Adidas, Waitrose, and Boots. After twenty years of editing images, he decided to pick up the camera himself and has since become a Canon Ambassador and a member of the Adobe Influencer’s Program. Booth is known for his distinctive style of selective focus in varieties of lighting, giving his work an intimate reality. He is also known for being at the forefront of utilizing new technologies and techniques in the dynamic field of Photography.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown, Booth shot a 24 minute documentary about himself, his influences and he uses photography as a means of being mindful.

Kurt Paris has been on the Maltese Photography scene for a while, but his love for the art emerged in 2008 when iStockphoto came to Malta for a week of photography. Paris specializes in Portraiture, Fashion as well as Commerical photography.

Ferenc Torok has vast experience in the photography world having over 25 years of experience with Canon’s photo products. He is currently responsible for providing support and technical assistance to professional and amateur photographers. Torok has had the first-hand experience with almost every Canon EOS camera and lens to come out to date. His expertise in the working knowledge of the EOS system makes him the go-to man for Canon EOS products.
