There’s no underestimating the importance of education and care in our youngest years. With that in mind, The Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE) has published updated National Standards for Early Childhood Education & Care Services, and are also hosting a consultation meeting to gather parent and guardian feedback.
Your opinion is important
Taking place between the 21st and 25th of June, parents and guardians are invited to take part in the online consultation process before the standards mentioned earlier are finalised. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, and close on Wednesday 16th June 2021.
It’s worth noting that the session will be recorded, but only for the purpose of taking consultation notes, and that you have the right to refuse to answer any questions you don’t want to answer. Anonymity is key and any information collected will be destroyed once the consultation process is over.
