The Marvel Cinematic Universe only seems to be growing in popularity the further it extends, and it’s only getting better. The Phase 4 announcements in recent months saw characters get standalone movies and series, along with some remakes of older favourites. Here’s a summary of what we know!
Our favourite villain is back
Honestly, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is as lovable as he is despicable in his various nefarious plots. As his character developed with each Thor and Avengers movie, he now gets the chance to showcase his full talents…but Owen Wilson’s appearance had us gawping at our screens.
On a separate Thor villain-note, Christian Bale is officially announced as the Thor Love & Thunder villain, AND.WE.CAN’T.WAIT!
What about everyone else?
Samuel L. Jackson gets his series as Nick Fury in “Secret Invasion“, Don Cheadle will be the star of “Armour Wars” as his MCU character War Machine, while trailers for “WandaVision” and “Ms. Marvel” were also unveiled.
There are plenty of movies coming too, with Ant Man’s third instalment, Captain Marvel 2 and Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness. Honestly, for the full scoop, head to Marvel’s Twitter page, as there is way too much awesome content to mention all here.

When it’s all happening
All of this is set to come across 2021 and 2022, but the one, major, excruciating downer? It’s all on Disney+ which shows no signs of coming to Malta any time soon. I’ll end the article here. I’m going to need a moment.
