Some people break glass ceilings, others smash it and leave a blazing trail behind them. One such person is Simran Mohnani, a Maltese engineer who has been recognised as one of 2020’s #TechWomen100, but there’s a lot more to her than that awesome achievement.

Current & future leader

Growing up, she cut her educational teeth at St. Martin’s and St. Aloysius, collecting an array of educational awards along the way. After that, she tested her talents away from our shores, and to say the least, she’s thrived and excelled academically and professionally.

Working with Deloitte today, she currently specialises in Systems Engineering & Operations Consulting. She’s been recognised as one of the Salters’ Institute’s top five UK Chemical Engineers 2019 for her work in championing women in STEM as a female role model.

Simran is also the leader of Codename MAXINE, a community aiming to expand female and other minority groups within the male-dominated tech industry. Despite achieving so much already, we’re sure that her journey’s just about started and there’s plenty of great success that’s yet to come and even eclipse her already fantastic achievements!

Here’s her post in full, on LinkedIn.
