Maltese 3D Printing Startup Opens New Premises

From humble beginnings as a two-person team in a Żabbar garage, to brand-new premises in Bulebel Industrial Estate, Invent 3D employs seven people operating a total of 130 machines. Needless to say, it’s quite the journey, having started in 2018.

Variety’s the spice of their business

Operating within the Toly factory, over the years, Invent 3D boast a variety of clients on the level of SiGMA, Liquorish, Remax and Mater Dei Hospital to name but a few. And having started as a husband and wife team, David and Alexandra Sciberras are looking forward to a promising future.

David explained how the move is a major milestone for the company, and how it can help both existing and prospective clients. “Our continuous expansion has led us to move into this massive new facility measuring 500m2,” he explained.

“We have more than 130 printers available to our customers, for prototyping and manufacturing. It is a true powerhouse for 3D printed products and services in Malta, frequently catering for product runs of over 5,000 pcs in a lean and agile manner. We are now at a point where we can help our clients inject 3D Printing into Product Development cycles seamlessly.”
