This holiday season just got a whole lot better for robotic enthusiasts across the Island, because IEEE is bringing the first international REGION 8 ROBOT CHAMPIONSHIP to Malta! Held at the Montecristo Estate Arena, the event will take place between the 3 and 4 of December 2022.
In case you’ve never heard of it, IEEE is a voluntary association that contributes to the advancement of humanity through technology. It aims to nurture, develop, and advance the construction of global technologies, and is committed to hosting interactive, educational sessions.
Although some of the activities – like the STEM events – are free of charge for the public to interact with different robots and learn more about science and technology, you will need entry tickets to access the arena, where you can meet the robots and watch them compete!
