How was your weekend? Good? Still hungover? It’s fine, we’ll get you up to speed slowly with some social media posts that left quite the impression on us.
The only place to start
Take 30 seconds of your day to read through Jon Mallia’s post below. Need it in English? No worries.
“In 1999 I left secondary school, and I doubt I even received my school leaving certificate. In 2011 I showed up once again on the search for work without any damn qualifications. Between them, 12 years of chaos and depression. In 2019, I spent 4 months working hard to tell you the truth the way I see it. For this, the Institute of Maltese Journalists saw fit to award me two honours. Don’t you dare let anyone tell you that you don’t have the strength to take control of your life and change your damned trajectory. Special thanks for my family and colleagues, who I can’t adequately list right now because I’m too drunk for that. I really thank you.“

No place like home
True, this was shared by TBWA\ANG a while back, but the artist himself posted them to his profile last night…so now it’s here for you to admire.
Soon, soon…
We’re with you all the way on this one…where will you go first though?

Making history
Last but not least, kudos to the Maltese men’s national football team for their 3-1 victory over Andorra. It was the first time in a competitive match that Malta was losing, to then mount a comeback and win in style.
