Following last year’s successful edition of the Validator in May 2019, in which 5 startups were selected – MITA are once again launching this great opportunity.

Leanda Keith, co-founder of Secura Ltd one of last years selected startups had this to say about their experience,
“The MITA Validator is the perfect pre-accelerator to get you on the right path in validating your business idea. The validator gave us the tools and mentorship needed to find our right market fit & needs and taught us how to pitch in preparation for the accelerator programme. The team and I would recommend the MITA YouStartIT Validator to anyone with an innovative idea and who is ready for the start-up challenge.”
MITA’s YouStartIT Validator programme is specially designed to:
- To clearly frame the problem you wish to solve
- Prove that there is a potential market for your solution
- Understand who your competitors are
- And that your business model can sustain your company in the future
At the end of the programme MITA will select up to four startup projects to join the next edition of the YouStartIT accelerator which will be starting in September, where you can receive a grant of up to €30,000.

You won’t be doing this alone – MITA will be there to offer guidance in the validation, testing and execution of your business idea supporting you to overcome any stumbling blocks and ensuring you have a unique selling proposition. This great opportunity will also serve as great networking, connecting you with a number of mentors, experts and business angels and other funding institutions.
The Coronavirus pandemic has shown that there is a growing need to digitise and innovate many businesses. People with a desire to re-invent themselves should therefore seize the opportunity of this help that MITA and government are offering. Sectors of interest for ideas submitted should include healthcare, education transport, retail, commerce, catering, enterprise tech and real estate, amongst many others.
