As we’ve often mentioned recently, humanity needs to be doing more to ensure that sustainability graduates beyond “buzzword” status and becomes a minimum standard by which we live our lives. Thankfully, two Maltese entities are banding together to host the Alliance For Sustainability Convention. Here’s what it’s set to entail.
First of its kind in Malta
Hosted by GSE Technologies and Life Learning Academia, this first-of-its-kind local event will guide businesses and organisations toward more sustainable practices. There are also networking opportunities to factor in, along with co-operation and working as one towards sustainability.
The event follows the trend of recent hybrid-styled conferences, with companies and willing participants encouraged to either attend physically or remotely. And it’s highly encouraged that people attend, given the event’s lineup.
With Life Learning Academia’s Director Justine Cassar Gaspar, GSE Technologies’ CEO Sabrina Agius, Professor Joe Falzon as Head of Banking and Finance UOM, President LLA Malta and Timothy Alden from the Malta Chamber of Commerce among others, there’s no shortage of experience and expertise from whom to learn.
The convention will take place on Saturday 2nd October, from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM at The Palace Hotel in Sliema. Attendees will be given a certificate and will be able to partake in the networking lunch to follow. It’s an event that’s open to all entities whether private or public, as well as executives and employees.
