Apple launched number of advances in their devices, some of them advances within existing devices, and other NEW devices. iPad Pro, the new Apple TV, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s+ were the highlights of the event.
Let’s start off with the Apple iPad Pro – a 12.9inch screen tablet, supporting a fully sized keyboard with the possibility of adding an external keyboard too. For the first time, Apple included 4 speakers in the tablet.
The iPad pro also includes the apple pencil (stylus) for additional features.
It comes with an A9X chip, making it the fastest tablet. It should be available as from November – 32GB and 128GB – in silver, gold and space grey.
For the Apple watch, Apple launched different straps, including leather straps. They also launched a new operating system – OS2 – that should be available as from the 16th of September, and additional apps like Facebook Messenger and GoPro.
The new Apple TV launched, should run with a separate OS – tvOS including the search function. It also has SIRI in built for voice recognition and an advanced controller with motion controls and a glass trackpad.
It also has the apple Music app and runs with a 64-bit A8 processor, supporting bluetooth 4.0. It is expected to launch in October with the 32GB and 64GB versions.
The iPad mini 4 is a 7.9inch tablet, with specifications very similar to the iPad Air 2.
Apple also launched 2 new Smartphones – The iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s+ with specifications of both phones very similar to the previously launched iPhone 6 and 6+. The new versions shall include 3D touch – giving options according to where you touch, and how hard the force.
It operates with an A9 chip, 70% faster than the A8, it has a 12-Megapixel iSight camera, filming in 4K and a 5-MP selfie camera. Another added feature is the Live photos. When taking a photo, it will capture movement and sound from some moments before and after taking the photo, a function designed to relive the moment.
The phones are expected to be available in gold, space grey, silver and rose gold operating with the new iOS9.
