Service Call Centre and Control Centre
Vacancies have arisen for the position of Technical Services Officer within the following areas:
1. Service Call Centre: The Technical Services Officer here provides high quality, remote technical support to MITA customers through the full use of availability management tools whilst diagnosing incidents and providing feedback.
2. Control Centre: The Technical Services Officer here monitors and supports all Government ICT services and infrastructure to ensure excellent service provision on a 24x7x52 basis. This position is shift based.
Successful candidates must be knowledgeable in various ICT related areas such as Local Area Networks, Operating Systems, and Desktop Technology and must be able to integrate with MITA’s clients. Successful candidates must also be fluent in both Maltese and English.
Candidates, who do not fulfil the competency requirements for Career Level 3, may be offered the position at an Associate Level, Career Level 2 if they fulfil the related competencies.
One of the following in an ICT area:
i) A qualification at MQF Level 5 OR higher; OR
ii) A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 4) AND 1 year experience in a related area; OR
iii) 2 years experience in a related area.
Fresh graduates may be offered an employment opportunity subject to the provision of final results.
