Music, has always played a huge part of the video game experience in itself. It has been this way since the very early days of video games. Music is there to set the mood, lead the gamer into certain thoughts and compliment the components of the game.

1. Super Mario Bros

This game was launched during very early stages of the Video Game renaissance and has yet to be forgotten.

2. Pokemon Red

This theme song was used for Pokemon Red, Blue & Yellow. This is one of those games that everyone and their uncle had.

3. Street Fighter 2

To make a game that allowed gamers to control 8 different characters back in 1991 was extremely impressive. The Street Fighter team have not slowed down their creativity.

You simply, cannot NOT know about Tetris. You have played it, you know the sound; no introduction needed.

5. The Legend of Zelda

Even though you may have not even been born when this was released, somehow you still go through nostalgia when listening to the sound track.
